We arrived unannounced in September
04 and although John and Lin hadn't officially opened, they
could not have been more welcoming, making us feel instantly
at home. La Jolie Maison combines the charm and elegance
of a lovely French house with the touches of home comfort
such as tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms,
which we have never found before in France, and which we
appreciated so much. We also enjoyed sitting in the garden
in the evening, sharing an aperitif with our hosts, talking
about the day's activities and planning the next.
We found many things of interest in the area , but if our
interests had been different, Lin and John were ready with
other suggestions. When the time came to leave, it was a
real wrench. Our consolation is that John and Lin have so
much talent and enthusiasm for what they are doing, La Jolie
Maison will be even better when we get our next chance to
visit.

Loved everything about it!! The Room,
the Food and most of all the wonderful welcome, we felt
very much at home,the best B&B ever!

it and we will recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone traveling

Having
met Lin & John by pure chance in Fontenay, this was
by far the best & most subtle 'pick up' we've experienced!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay & their company,
which we hope may be the basis for a longer friendship.
